Well I was driving my cummins today an when I got home I saw that I got a small chip the size of a pebble in my windshield. Any of you guys went through safelite or any other place like them to get fixed.

 

Did the Safelite thing on the wife's car a few years back. They did a good job and prevented any cracking. Also, if you go through your insurance company, they will usually pick up the bill for it. Cheaper they do that then replace the windshield after it cracks for real.

 

Ditto! Have used Safelite to fix windshield. They will turn into insurance and may be free to you. Took about an hour or less to do. I would recommend any day. They will also review it to see if what they do is acceptable for repair, depends on location of chip, etc. They were very fair with me.

 

Gonna try to get it done sometime next week so it doesn't get any worse.

 

I had the same problem and got a repair kit from the local advanced auto parts i was pretty supprised.its been over a year and still looks good
