I was pulling my tractor quite gently on sunday and had sudden and catostrophic failure of my nv5600 while very gently downshifting on aproach to a stoplight . I was driveing like a granny because i have a new ceramic clutch with about 5000 or 6000 miles on it that never really felt like it seated properly . The shop called me today and said the clutch had come apart . Just looking for some feedback . Did the trans destroy the clutch or did the clutch shatter, lodge and destroy the trans ? The mechanic said he will be able to tell once he gets inside the transmission . Man, I feel like I had a death in the family . I am not an agressive driver, quite the opposite, so this kind of caught me out of left field .

 

bellhousing cracked? If so Id blame the clutch, but like said you gotta get it out to really see what happened
