Alright guys, took my truck in the shop Friday because I didn't have 3rd and 4th gear, come to find out today that I broke the mainshaft in half , anyways I told the guy id get the parts, so I need a new main shaft, nv4500 parts kit (for rings and other things) new 5th gear nut, and he also said that the shift fork wasn't moving evenly, the one side is coming back and contacting the pressure plate and that he thought there was a shim I could get to make it move evenly, I wanted to know if you all could put me in the right direction for these parts! I'm looking for parts that will hold up to about 650hp, thanks, Cody

Have you checked out a remanufactured rebuilt tranny, built with the newest specks. In other words "Tried and Tested".
