Turbo going bad?

super simple just make sure that you mark the shaft relationship with the compressor wheel so you don't throw off the balance, the nut is left handed and it not real tight, about 12 lbs is all. also mark the relationship between the exhaust housing and the center hub before you take it apart. I had to loosen my four bolts and tap on the center hub to get it to line up with my oil drain. One more thing, pay close attention to the orientation and order of the internal parts... very easy project.

out of balance badly or you did something totally wrong, maybe even a bent shaft or loose compressor wheel, pull the compressor housing off and take a look and see if you see metal shavings or marks on the inside of the housing where a wheel could be rubbing.
Also, check out this link, its the factory service manual for your hx35 directly from holset themselves, free to download, its 80+ plus pages so be aware of that before printing it off.
