I have the 99 doge diesel with stock turbo. Last tow trip out I blew my intercooler boot and could not keep it on , I bought additional hose clamps and limped home.
I did buy new boots from BD Diesel and am totoaly satisfied. I checked for any oil contamination, cleaned the intrecooler ports and put them on.
They really are heavier duty than stock.

 

mr bobs will take all you can throw at em and they have a inside coating to handle oil too. if you blow off a mr bob's boot you didn't tighten them a few days after install. I know a few guys pushing 125psi+ through them and never lost one but blew up every other brand they tried.
