crazy exhaust sound
guys i have got the most annoying exhaust vibration sound in the world. my truck has a 4 inch silver line exhaust. i just put a muffler delete pipe on it. before the delete pipe it would always make a vibration sound when i put the truck in gear and it changed the idle. when i put the delete pipe on i had to cut the welds on the original exhaust hangers. instead of rewelding the original one back on i put a hanger from auto zone on it ang anchored it to one of my bed rails on the bottom. when i did that it raised the exhaust maybe 3/8 of an inch and the sound quit. the damn screw on the hanger came out yesterday and the sound is back. any help? any ideas on what to do? o ya and i put a new screw in and it still does it Thanks i appreciate any ideas
Might check the transmission mounts and motor mount while someone pulls it in gear. You'll find the vibrations
. Just make sure the parking brake is set and wheels are chocked. I know it sounds stupid but anything can happen and it only takes one mistake. For instance a guy we have worked with for years, that's been around big jobs and was well trained in job site safety was killed by a truck moving less than 2 mph . It's sad but it happens. Take every precaution! Maymead Accident Proves Fatal
