I have an oppurtunity to pick one of these for cheap and I was wondering are they any good?

 

i was looking to to it a while back. but there were part shortages when i called to try and order. i'd still do it but i'm headed in another direction now. the the hx 35/40 is good for a little bit more hp, not a lot. the biggest gain is in egt drops.

 

Love mine. Works great! The comp wheel is 60mm x 86mm.

How difficult is it to make a hx35 a 35/40??

 

You need a HX40 wheel, and snail, plus a little machining
