the 80's are all the same 94-02 that is if it's still stock. I know 37 spline is an upgrade unit for them

I have a 2000 dodge 3500 dually with a dana limitd slip rear end. When I back up it behaves as if it is slipping intermittently. What is the prognosis for failure & how soon. I do not have the special lubricant additive that is added along with the regular sunthetic gear lube. If it is trashed, then is it possible to changer it for a standard 3rd member, non-limited slip differential? I have seldom pulled any heavy weight behind.

powertrax makes decient parts but personally putting that much power through them isnt a good idea.. ive broke two of the lock rites in my dana 60 in the front of my 84 with only a mild bigblock and 37's....id say arb or detroit locker all the way
