mad Found Out What My Stutter Was Caused By! &%$#!!

Well unfortunately I believe that BanditsDiesel was correct!

I think i shifted an Oring on installation!!!

My head gasket went pop AGAIN! My truck is puking oil out the front of the head all over the belts and pulleys!

She will be getting AAAed to Wooster Diesel. Since i do NOT have a garage *sigh*. They are going to do everything from re-ringing head, replacing gasket and including parts for under 500$. Beyond worth it to me!

Well, here it goes again!

thats a good price though there is a lot of work to be done. I don't really see how you would slip an o-ring on install. did you re-torque head after a 100 miles or so?

Yeah I retorqued it.
I made a boo boo on install, I set head down and slid it into place to line up holes.... BIG no no!
With o rings you should keep head up slightly, insert a few studs as guide rods then lower head slowly STRAIGHT DOWN. I did not do that!
Its hard with a 200+ pound head and working all by myself. If I could do it over again..... just don't make same mistake I did!!
