What type of grease do you guys use to grease your front end compnents? I just got some suspension work done a bit ago and its time to grease the front end. I'm going to use Mobil 1 synetheic grease , it's red in color. Input please.!

 

Should be great stuff. You typically want the NLGI#2 unless you are in an extremely cold area.

 

I like Moly grease (min 5% Molybdenum). It resists squishing out. AmsOil makes a really good Moly grease.

 

a fleet mechanic told me to use a lithium based grease. it doesn't dry out like moly does, so if you don't get under as often as you should, the grease is still soft and working for ya, instead of drying out.
