vibration sound from somewhere

hey guys, i got an 01 24v and ive got a vibration sound that sounds like metal on metal coming from somewhere underneath. it usually happens only when im stopped or about stopped and in gear. also if im stopped and pump the brakes only letting it moved hardley at all it will do it. checked the exhaust. thinking it could have something to do with the brakes. any ideas? driven me nuts

Is the exhaust touching anything

I guess I should pay attention to what I'm reading already checked exhaust

If its an auto check your lines from the tranny to the FRONT tranny cooler... MY plastic holder FAILED and the lines were vibrating on the crossmember! It was epic fail because it rubbed THROUGH the lines and destroyed them!

Just worth a check anyway!
