fuel leak

Default fuel leak

Son just got a 98 24v and it is leaking fuel from the top of the fuel filter housing, where the two wires come out. Would this be an o-ring fix or do we need a new housing.

I have a different style filter housing, but I have heard there is an o-ring in there that can be changed. If it is coming out from the wires, and not the o-ring area, a new fuel heater is required.

update...part that the o-ring went around was broken. Took out additional fuel heater, tapped and plugged the hole in the top of the fuel filter housing. Starts right up in 15 degree weather. Problem solved.
