As the title says ive got a shattered t case, its a 241dld. My question is does anyone have any suggestions for cheap options to replace it, all the salvage yards want 600-900 dollars for a case with 150,000+ miles. I got a steal on the truck and dont want to spend as much on a case as i did on the truck haha. It looks like to me the cv joint being shot in the front driveshaft caused the case to split. Thanks in advance for any help.

I paid $1500 for one last yr when my front ujoint let go and the shaft went out the backbut I needed it right away because it was storming and I needed to plow

 

Ya that sucks when you gotta have parts right now, i just bought this truck as a project so i can wait a while but im just not findin much of anything, i havent even found and empty case halves for sale anywhere.
