I have 1 headlight out and the other one is getting really dim. I have new bulbs ready to put in, but it's cold and wet outside and I don't want to do it. So my question here, is how can I fix these without having to be outside to do it. Almost forgot the most important, being Christmas and all I'm broke, so I can't pay anybody either.

I know there has to be a way of fixing this from here on the couch but I can't figure out how. HELP ME, I'M LAZY.

Well, you call the neighbor kid, offer him a dollar... My Sport pkg is great, just reach in behind the battery and twist the lock, pull the receptacle out, swap bulbs and reinstall. Not sure about the other trucks...is it that simple or do you have to remove the assembly?

 

Same set up, just a pain in the rumpkis gettin my hands behind the batteries and gettin the threads lined back up on the lock nut.

 

Don't Drive at night. Or move to Texas. It was 80 degrees today.

I'm not goin anyplace right now cause I'd have to get off the couch to do that to. Kids that want to work for a buck, hah. You made a funny.

 

When I change bulbs I don't go from behind, I pull the headlight assemblies out. 3 bolts, hold you tongue right, and its out in 2 minutes. The harnesses are long enough as well.

Not much chnace of this being an issue. These bulbs been ridin in my truck seat for almost a month now.

I don't understand what yer sayin here, but it sounds pretty cool. Think you can come and show me how you do it.
