Default Friend has a 24valve... what can i mod for him ?

He's got a 5" MBRP exhaust and an intake...

but i want to make it quicker for him, what can i do that doesn't cost $$$ ???

edge or quadzilla, injectors, turbo, all make it faster but all cost $$$$

pfff, i'm pushing 400hp for 0$...... what a POS this 24valve thing is then !

well yea, the injection pump on these is electronic so you need to first worry about the fuel pressure so it doesnt burn up then you gotta use a programmer to get more hp as well as turbo and injectors and such

hmmm, guess we'll have to convert it to P7100 then you'll get a thread about this in the next weeks

hope you have money for all the conversion parts to a p-pump...cause that is by no means a cheap mod

oh how could i forget the conversion, that does cost upwards of 3 grand? maybe less but still expensive.

So obviously no homework was done before walking in and asking questions. So far in this thread I see a guy that is shooting his mouth off. The 24V's are NOT "POS"s, they are just newer and have electronics. Want the biggest power #'s? Get a 12V P-Pump, want a truck that is capable of high idle, 3 cyl warm up, and easier cold weather statlting? Get a 24V or newer. They both have there advantages and disadvantages. I strongly suggest looking into things before you start labeling certain engines "POS"s.
