Was going up the big hill into cloudcroft sunday to haul wood and started noticing an intermittent shutter felt like a miss. than once I loaded about two cords on I could feel it more. I don't notice it driving down the highway or when I'm running hard just medium throttle under a load. No codes and no other symptoms I recently closed off the waste gate but that shouldn't affect it. MY guess is VP dying and it's had a small drip off it for awhile just haven't had time or money to fix. Any ideas?

 

Hows your fuel pressure?

 

how long has it been since you changed your Airdog filters?

 

fuel pressure is good never drops below 15 and I haven't changed the filters in a year and a half or so

 

I ordered a filter just to make sure that wasn't it been meaning to change it anyway. No other ideas?
