Default fuel problems

hi i have a 99 cummins and i put a set of injectors and a eep injection pump in it. i pulled it into the shop on friday and put everything on it. now it won't start. i have a fuel problem. the fuel pump in the tank wasn't turning on so i bought a new in tank fuel pump. it didn't change anything. the in tank fuel pump will not turn on for some reason. i've been working on it with my dad and we are stumped. if anyone has a solution or an idea i would really ppreciate it. thanks

we tested it and it is getting power to one of the four wires. i was wanting to know if i have always had a problem with the truck because it was primed. now that i broke prime in the lines i can't bleed it because i can't get fuel.

even if you dont have a prime the pump should turn on...to bleed the line you would just hit the primer button or crack the injectors and turn it over untill you get fuel but that is if your pump is up and runnin

i can't bleed the pump if the pump on the tank won't turn on. no fuel can reach the lift pump or the injection pump. only one of the four wires going to the pump in the tank has 12 volts. what is causing the problem.

it is an oem pump, but i don't think it would matter if this brand new one or the old one won't work at all would it? i'm wondering if it is electrical?

well youve got one wire you said has power...so somewhere in there you must have a bad connection or maybe a bad fuse or relay? check all fuses and relays

I can't understand why you would install another oem fuel pump in the tank instead of a Fass or Dog pump on the frame rail??
