Up Is there a ground drawing available?

turbo20psi: How many grounds are you referring to in your post? Do you know if there is an "overall" schematic available which shows all of the ground points in the 2nd generation trucks? The weather is still nasty where we are, so we have to do this when it dries up a bit. Nevertheless, I'd like to prepare the best I can before we attempt to solve this terrible issue (intermittent TC lock/unlock).

Thanks for your time,
B&W

DTT Noise filter will fix this issue.

Diesel Dawgs: Have you suffered with this nasty problem yourself? Did installing a filter actually permanently cure it for you? I've read various posts suggesting that the filters don't always permanently cure this ailment.

Thanks for your time,

In my experience if the filter does not take care of the problem then there is a problem with the transmission itself. This can be verifired by line pressure, testing solenoids, and lock up of the converter. This can be done all by the OBD port. back to ya.

I got a noise isolator from Tony at Mighty Diesel and it fixed my problem with TC locking in & out. Bout a 30.00 fix.

turbo20psi: Did you see the post I made earlier in this thread? If not, here it is again:

Although I have no intention of stealing the thread from the original poster, I believe these posts are in keeping with the theme; namely, that our torque converters are not maintaining lock up. Hopefully, these posts will serve to inform all of us about this terrible issue that seems to plague many 2nd generation CTD Rams.

Thanks (again) for your time,
B&W
