Default new clutch

okay so this clutch just got installed and its rated 450HP and its really jerky like break your neck at take off but smooth after what could it be? its a 99 5spd single cab

not to be a smart butt..but sounds like operator error..what kind of clutch is it?

im really not being a smart butt but after i installed a good clutch in my stang i had to learn to drive it again cuz it would grab and not slip..sounds like whats going on here

Sounds like a ceramic clutch. The are very grabby.

Yup, give it time. It will smooth out. Make sure you do a lot of in town stop and go driving for the first 250 miles. That will break it in right. DO NOT go for a long road trip. That is the worst way to drive a new clutch.
