hi guys im looking to order a drawstraw for my pickup and im trying to figure out if ive got an in tank pump i looked at the fuel module there was one connector and it had 4 wires running into it is that just for the sensor or are some for the pump 4 wires seems like alot for just a sensor but im hopeing u guys can clarify thanks for readin and thanks in advance.

I think the easiest way to tell if you have a intank pump or not is to look at the engine. On the same side as the stock fuel filter canister, just below or to the side there should be the lift pump. If the pump is there, then no pump in the tank from what I have read. If there is just what seems to be a block of metal, then you could have an in tank pump. When I was about to do my AD, I looked for this and I found my pump on the side of the motor. When I pulled the fuel basket out, there was no pump there. I hope this makes sense.

thanks my pickup did have the lift pump on the block before it took out my ip and i replaced it with the fass 95 gph system at the time i just hooked it up to the factory pickup but thanks for the help im pretty sure it does have the in tank pump i wasnt for sure cause when i bought my pickup they said the entire fuel system was resently replaced and i know when the factory does it they double up the pumps i was just wandering but i didnt mean to come across as a dick if thats what i sounded like im just a little paniced cause i need to order this drawstraw so ive got it this weekend thanks for ur advice.

You did not come off that way. No worries, I get nervous when trying to get the right thing ordered and there is like upteen different versions to choose from. So I understand. Hope you get it all together.
