I'll go take a pic of the '02 that is currently sitting in the drive, as the '01 is at the shop getting ball joints etc...
Does your '02 have the sport headlights, mishkaya?

Yes it does! After the difference it made in the '01, I just had to put them in the '02 as well. They were installed last fall.

Up Great looking photo

Mishkaya: Compared to the pale yellow lights on my truck, your headlights look great!

Will you give me the particulars on your bumper? We own forest property, so our truck takes a beating every now and again. Not only is it darker than [you know what] up there, but the rear visibility is awful at night as well. Did you do anything to "beef up" the rear (bumber, lights, etcetera)?

I recently backed into a large white pine, and now my tail gate is stuck in the [almost] closed position. It was not one of my better evenings...

I have a Denver off Road bumper (DOR) on the '02 as well as my '01 and the '05. I really like it because it's aluminum (won't rust, light weight) and is at least as strong as steel. Of course it wasn't cheap either. Here's a link in case you're interested.
Denver Off Road
On the rear, I will be getting some steel bumpers, although I haven't had the need for one yet...

I looked at the webpage you sent, mishkaya, but it didn't have a lot of information. How much did you pay for the bumper(s) on your truck(s)?

Arrow UPDATE

So now I've got the '01 OEM Sport headlight assemblies (complete with turn signal housings) and the wiring conversion kit from Daniel Stern lighting.

The headlight assemblies are complete and are ready to bolt in: they even came with lamps already installed. What I'm lacking, at this point, is technical guidance.

Does anyone out there know where I can locate any written technical information on performing this conversion?

On top of a decent wiring diagram/schematic, I'd like to know which type of specialized tools are needed for building the receiving terminals. That is, which type of crimper is required for assembling the terminal block that the aftermarket lamp elements plug into?

My truck has been illegal for some time now, so I'm anxious to finally get this done. On the other hand, I've gone through a lot of trouble to get to this point, so I also want to do the job properly.

Thanks for your time
