Default Hunting 1st-2nd 2nd-1st

Hey guys so the tranny acted up acouple weeks ago after a good work out pulling 7k lbs of modrone fire wood. A week after the wood job when light on the throttle going from 1st to second it hunts in and out of second untill speed changes or I increase throttle. If I keep it busy with more throttle is shifts normaly maybe alittle sooner than usual. Its not burning the fluid at all and other than that lockup and everything is normal.

I took it to the tranny shop and they found two codes one was for charging system low and the other was something unknown, I will post the codes later when I find then again. They were thinking maybe the gov pressure solinoid. And they were thinking the low charging system was making it act up, that sounds like BS to me. It still starts perfectly normal and the batteries come up to voltage after a startup the same as always.

p1693 is a code stored in the pcm that cannot be read by the odometer window check. It takes a full on scanner for that one.

Actually that can cause a lot of problems. With our trucks having several computers on board trying to communicate with each other a split second low voltage condition will cause havoc. I had an issue with my truck not charging properly and it was causing all kinds of problems like erratic shifting, security system wouldnt let me in the truck, and the vanes on my turbo would open and close at random while cruising. Turned out to be a bad cell in one battery that would intermittently draw the system down. The Allison learns how to shift the truck according to driving habits and when the voltage would drop the computer would reset the TAPS and it would start shifting crazy.
