Stock batteries suck. The AC Delco's we get in the DMax are lucky to last two years. Do a load test on your batteries and then on the charging system. Also, get an amp probe and attach it to one of the negative cables and see how much current your system is drawing.

Ijust went out and did a bunch of voltage readings, After sitting all night the batts were at 12.50, load test they came down to 12.24. started it up and they came right up to 14.30. When the grid heater cycled it never came below 12.60. After the grids and everything was done cycleing it would bounce between 14.26-14.32. So it seems everything checks out in the voltage department. Batterys are From 02 BTW I thought they were stock.

Sounds like everything is good there. You might have an intermittent issue with the alternator or one of the batteries. Just guessing now that everything checks good.

My truck does this sometimes but not to bad. Seems like it occurs when the truck is cold.

I will give that a shot tommorow. It does seem like the apps would be whats going on becuase the kickdown is off as well and I dont think its ever been correct.

I checked my APPS Voltage and my Kick Down Cable but neither seemed to affect this problem. It doesnt do it all the time so most the time I dont even notice it. I need to adjust my kick down cable again so I can firm up my shift just a touch.

Ive never had any problems up till now though why would something like this happen all of the sudden? Where is the kickdown cable? I thought it was electric Id like to adjust that as well.
