the price sounds good but i personally would sacnit first. I think you might be able to rent a scan tool from oriellys or somewhere and do a simple scan

possibly. also have yall tried turing the three times it dosent allways show a code that way but it may help get started finding something out

yeah turn the key off to on three times and look at the odometer you may get a code or you may not i cant say for sure but hey is a simple free check

Turn the key real fast 3 times when you do that. My o1 says pdone on the odometer when no codes are present

The key trick only works on 2000 and newer trucks, so this won't do him any good...

Any more advice guys? Wish i could rent a scanner but cant think of who would rent one

3 times in 5 seconds, i read it on blue chip diesel. He has a good diagnostic page laid out.
