It goes from .47 to 3.58 with the throttle all the way like the pedal is at the floor. I assume that's what you meant me to do, move the throttle lever and check voltage, not remove the torx screws and rotate the switch??

Thats exactly what I was thinking. I would assume the APPS is good then.

How do you check it? I don't have any pressure gauges.

Without a gauge, you can't. You need to be able to tap into the fuel supply to the IP, the closer to the IP the better. I guess you could remove the hose to your IP, and try to catch the fuel in a pail. It should come flying out of the hose. If you just bump the starter, but NOT START the truck, it will run the pump for about 25 seconds.

Did you find your problem? Mine is doing exactly the same thing. The injector pump checks good. I'm wondering if it's ECM or APPS, maybe. Any suggestions. The fuel pressure is good, about 16 lbs. The fuel pump control seems to be acting up at times. It don't always start, when it does, all it does is idle. at about 1100 rpm it starts cutting out, and some times dies. Thanks in advance for your help.

I had a friend read my codes. It came up 1688 (the death code). I replaced the IP, everthing seems OK now. Thanks
