Default Cam sensor

Do I need to replace my cam sensor when I replace my VP? I just thought it might be a good idea'r since it kinda behind it. If so, do I need to get it from Cummins, or somewhere else?

Thanks
Billy D

Your right on the money thinking its a good time to change it. I have hear a few stories about guys changing their VP44, and a few weeks later needing to do the Cam sensor.
I would suggest getting it from Cummins, as Dodge dealership put such a markup on everything.
