no start or crank?
Idk I've owned quite a few vehciles and almost all of them have been sticks and I've never had an instance where I started of and had it in gear, even when I park in gear I put it neutral and depress the clutch . What is the proper fix then?
not 100% sure but if the switch is bad I think the only option would be to replace the whole clutch hydralics, but not sure, I havent looked into them that much, breaking up the kits get air int he lines and they are almost impossible to bleed out.
Might be. I never replaced mine. I just pulled the whole works out and gave it to somebody else. However I personally know how much of a pain in the rump it is to bleed the air out of the lines.I would think that they would have made the switch serviceable but who knows.
If it comes down to it, It might be easier to just leave the jumper in. Or buy a set of Heavy Duty hydraulics.

Thanks but already found it and did it. But it only partly solved the problem, this morning it had a little trouble cranking over, leading me to believe either my connection isn't that great or its also bad connectors in the starter, they haven't gone completely bad yet but they are probably getting worse. So next step is next month when I have more money ill do the contacts and hopefully solve the problem.
