02 PROBLEMS HELP PLZ

My Buddy has a 2002 cummins with the fass fuel straight pipe exhaust and the Edge juice with attitude he screwed up and pumped the JwA up to level five without FASS fuel system in it

and kinda messed his VP44 Up but then he put fass fuel system in, Now he looses throttle response on start up until about 150 degrees on engine he also has a sh*t load of white smoke at start up is this all caused from slowly failing VP44 or should he be worried about other problems??

Also he was wondering does the SMARTY tune the tranny??

Scan truck for codes. The VP-44 is possibly damaged.

No the Smarty doesnt tune the tranny...whatever thats supposed to mean. Transmissions need $$ hard parts.
