At 20 PSI the engine runs rough? First I have heard of that. I had my in tank pump feeding a car quest block mounted pump at one time. Made 29 PSI at low idle, never noticed any rough running issues.

Very odd, I wonder if there is damage to a diaphragm in the VP44. Sure hope not though.
