ok so i drove my truck to get the tranny changed and now with the new tranny in it the o/d off night is on as soon as you start truck as well as the trans temp light any idea's kind of bumming old tranny was slipping but still when done the road with o/d. just jumped in it this morning and started it up and all the lights went out and i has over drive, drove it around the a little bit all worked fine pulled back in my driveway and bam the o/d light was back on

 

did you call your tranny shop and see what they had to say and does it have a warranty so you could take it back to them

 

the tranny connector prolly had some trans fluid in it and dried out it causes issues that way.

 

well we got it fixed yesterday (thanks to Chad with upstate diesel) the guy that build the transmission put a temp senser in that was out of a new truck so it was way diff then the one that should be in it. changed that out and BAM she runs great!
