the wandering all over the road could be anything. very possible the trac bar. i just had to replace mine, and now it steers better than it ever has.

Sounds like the track bar to me as well. I replaced mine with a stock type replacement from a local parts store that came with a life time waranty - I'll probably need to replace it under that waranty every cuple of years, but the price was 1/8th of price of the beefed up ones sold threw various vendors.

That cruse controll thing hapens with my truck as well but more so when I'm using my Edge tuner box. If I turn off the box the cruse controll doesn't varry the speed anywhere near as bad.

I have the Superchips Flashpaq in my truck, and if I take it out the cruise control constantly speeds up and slows down. When I have it programed, the cruise control works just perfect. It still speeds up and slows down but not nearly as bad as it does in stock form.

the wondering will never stop i replaced everything except the gear box even put the conversion kit for a 04 track bar, but it is better than it was. check the vaccuum line under the driver side batterie my was cracked so i shortened it used a screw to remove the end that broke off in the rubber boot put it back together and cruise works perfect again.

Did you look into getting the BD steering box stabilizer? My friends truck was TERRIBLE, after he drove mine he went out and bought one too! After that and some tie rods its MUCH better!!!
