my brothers 91 2 wheel drive gets about 28, but its not heavily modified, and its got an overdrive trans

it really depends on what gears on in the chevy. I know the first gens get good mileage. been in 5spd 4x4's that get 25 easy.

The early 90s trucks, think to 92 or 93 were not intercooled.

89-91 weren't intercooled. 91.5- now all have intercoolers
