My 02 seems to eat a pair of U-joints about every summer, now it's time again. My lift was on the truck when I got it, it doesn't sway, rides smooth, and no banging around. I had a dude check my pinion angle last summer and he said it was fine. I'm using Spycer U-joints, WTH! It's starts vibrating when it shifts into overdrive. I could propably trash them if I mashed on it during that time. What's going on? One year on a set of U-joints, come on...
Any info is greatley appreciated!!!

Don't know. Maybe it's time to go to a driveline shop and have it checked out. At the very least might wanna have the shaft balanced and have them install the ujoint.

 

have your drive shaft checked for balance. and how often do u grease your u joints?

 

Yeah, guess I better have the driveshaft balanced, I hope it's nothing serious.
