2000 Ram 2500, Holy Dash, from what i have gathered it is the factory windsheilds that cause the cracking, somehow, it lets the wrong type uv light through and it cracks them.

 

01 dash is cracked 5 places but so far no holes!! My last one had football sized holes.. Was a 99.
Guess we should make dodge visit this thread! It's hard to argue with facts! (but u can't fix stupid either)

 

02 with 135k and the cracks are taking over. entire pieces ar breaking off. looks so terrible but there some sites out there that you can get replacements ranging in price within the 100 200 range....yet still a complete waste of money considering it shouldnt be like that!!!

 

I have a 96 but i want in on this has 350k on her and it's all sorts of cracked

 

Got a 97, and it had all kinds of cracks over the dash, but the new one is crackless and its been about 2 years now

 

2001 and it hasn't cracked yet. It usually sits outside too except for the few rare times it gets to sit in the garage.

 

01 with no cracks at 144,000 @no cracks in my 94 at 220,000 and they both have neverbeen inside since I've owned them

 

Add me to the list 02 with 120k and had no cracks at all then was washing my perfectly good noncracked dash the otherday and there is now one about an inch on the pass side defrost vent wtf

 

01 2 cracks slightly to the right of radio it is not noticable when its hot but in cold you can fit a quarter in it i also have decided to go with the dash cover from genos probably gonna get it when it starts getting cold i will throw some poxys on it to keep it from cracking anymore and throw that cover on it and be good to go

 

Are dashes are made of paper mashay?
