cracked and getting worse on my 01

 

01 Cracked to Pieces

 

01.5 and 02 cracked not bad....

 

what i did when mine cracked i called Dodge and chewed some major butt and the fixed it for a 100 buck. And i had almost 200k on my 2000.

 

98.5 with 220k and no cracks ......yeah I'm bragging but I suppose it'll be cracked tomorrow now

 

99 cracked all to pieces.

 

99, what was left of the outside edge was not cracked, I didn't even have to take the radio out to work on the wires

 

i got 205000 and no cracks, wonder why they crack?

 

From what i understand its cause by shrinkage... A guy i know had his crack right in front of him... It was totally fine then all the sudden it cracked, he said it sounded like an explosion. The crack didnt spread like a windshield would... It just blew apart like pulling a fault line from both sides.
I dont know if Dodge used crappy materials, baked the plastic too long, or what. All i know is they WONT admit they have a problem!

 

OK I may as well add my two cents: 99- 2500- 216,000miles, dash is not cracked one one place it is junked all over
