1999 268k mi no cracks at all. knock on wood.

 

Got a 96' with 260k miles and the dash is cracked pretty bad. Even the panel under the steering column has a couple of small cracks where the two screws are. Also the piece above the cup holders is broke too. Planning on a new dash and fiberglassing everthing else up.

 

138k miles, 2002 Dodge Ram 2500 Sport, 5.9 Cummins Turbo Diesel, Manual 6-Speed Transmission.

1st crack appeared 1 month ago. 2nd crack appeared 1 day ago. Seems very brittle. I suspect a little squeeze or bump and more cracks will appear.

 

I have an extra dash bezel in great shape if anyone needs one...

 

How much and will it fit a 96'?

 

01 2500 dash has holes the size of basket ***** in it!! sucks!

 

02 cummins my dash has cracks all over it, really sucks gettin a dash mat

 

don't know when it cracked, but i was about to blame the guy who did my heater core...

 

2001 with 300,xxx no cracks

 

02 with a tan dash and is cracked just about everywhere even got some holes. started cracking 4 or 5 years ago. Its the materials the supplier used. Yea dodge does need to do something about it but its like the fuel system on these truck they wont admit the carter fuel pump is defected they want to sell you the $400 kit to retro fit with an in tank model
