Exclamation vibration!!!

hey guys,

so this past weekend i was headed to town and noticed a slight vibration under my feet...
after paying more attention to it i figured out that it dont start vibrating until around 40-50 mph on up...then noticed that when i hit a bump it will stop until i hit another bump then starts vibrating again...tried pushing in the clutch to see if it would quit and it dont

thought maybe it could be the u-joints so i changed them and still didnt help....but did notice that on my rear u-joint at the axle my caps slide back and forth inside the yoke. is this a problem? i checked the rear yoke for play up and down and side to side thinking maybe the pinion bearing was shot but it was tight

i went deeper in investigation by pulling my actuator housing off and found that there is metal shards in there some smaller bearings and pieces of metal about the size of a dime i noticed that the inner seal are out that go on the axle there at the actuator

could this be the bearings to my ring gear carrier that are pressed into the front axle house inside the front gear housing? i need help on this one guys i dont no where else to look....... any advice would be appreciated

thanks in advance

Metal shards and pieces the size of a dime floating around in the transfer case or front diff? Sounds like you found the problem!!
