What we do is take the nut and such loose and use an air hammer to impact the end of the ball joint and it usually pops loose. A little heat on the frame mount should loosen it as well. My guess is you werent able to get a solid hit on the end. Don't round it over too much or it will fight you out all the way.

had the same problem beat the **** out of the side of it like you would with a ball joint, use PB blaster, i used a fork and got it to pop but all else fails use a bigger hammer for more *** or resort to the blue wrench aka torch

Yah. Jaw-puller works good, and air-hammer works good. heat never hurts!!! It can be a bear to get loose, but it'll eventually let go.

I had a couple of those lifetime warranty bars.... The warranty is great, but you still have to take it off. I finally gave in and bought a DT Trackbar. Money well spent. I've finally been able to forget about the trackbar.
