Default oil pan leak

How hard would it be to replace my oil pan gasket?

You cant do it without lifting the motor up away from the x member. Just make sure it isnt the front crank seal or vac pump leaking before you go through all the work.

You have to pull the fan, then take the motor mounts loose. Rig a jack to catch the harmonic balancer or use an engine hoist and lift the motor up out of the mounts, pivoting on the transmission mount. You can then drop the pan and reach in and drop the oil pick up tube, then remove both out the back together. Get a new gasket for the pickup tube too.

Put a small dab of sealant where the front and rear covers meet the block.
Trq everything to 18ft lbs.
