Reflashing computer?

Hello i was wondering how do you reflash your computer in the vp44 trucks?

Buy a programmer like a smarty or you can take it to the dealer and they will but you will get no benefit out of it.

well i heard sometimes their will be a hypetec orsum porgrammer in your computer and then it can mess up another chip thats on your truck?

Do you mean someone used a OBD II style tuner like a superchips or hypertech and left the tune in the truck?

Well I do believe if you turn the key on, then off, then on it will show if you have any codes if I remember right. Or you could just get another programmer and overwrite it...

doesn't work if you use a hypertech to try and write over a hypertech as they download the stock info so you can go back to stock. I am not sure on the smarty or superchip.
