Default 01 24 valve died no start

One of my buddies has an 01 24 valve with a quadzilla adrenaline and bd 100 horse injectors and bd lift pump. He let out of the throttle to stop at a stop sign and the truck died and now won't start. Lift pump is running and there was fuel in the filter at least. I have not had a chance to look at it, but thats what he has looked into so far. What can we check to figure out whats goin on. He said it was running fine before no loss in power. I figured if it was the ip it would have gave a sign that it was on it's way out but idk. Anybody???

Was he relatively hard on the throttle when he let off? If so he probably just needs to bleed the lines at the injectors to get back up and running. This has happened to quite a few in all reality. Hope it's something simple!

Proper etiquette is to start your own thread if you have a different problem...
This said, if you have good fuel pressure to the VP44, but not fuel to all of the injector lines, you most likely have a failed VP44. How much did you crank with the lines cracked to the injectors? It can take a while to bleed all the air out of the lines if you ran the pump dry.

Should try cranking at least a dozen times if the tank was run dry. It can take a while to get the whole system primed. Just make sure the line to the VP44 is fully primed first, or you just might run out of battery...
