Default Speedometer problem

Well... last week the speed sensor in the rear went, now yesterday, the speedometer quit...any ideas?

you changed the speed sensor in the rear already if not thats the problem also check it for metal on the sensor if you already changed it

well... actually i havent got the new one in yet... but the old one is disconnected cause it was screwing with my brakes badly... but the speedo worked after i disconnected it for 3 days, now it stopped. I have the new sensor, gonna put it in the next few days.

OK.... so as I stated, the rear speed sensor was disconnected and the brakes worked fine. I replaced the rear speed sensor and now its back to no brakes below 12mph. And the speedometer is doing weird things. Is there another speed sensor somewhere that could be causing this?

Auto trans ? there could be one in the trans output but not sure on that one I thought they were in the rear diff.

no, its a 5spd, and yeah, i replaced the one in the diff.
