Multi part Question
I jsut did my vp44 and an airdog 100, but still get lousy mileage. I know that the vp was bad and also know that the stock lifter was bad. Is it possible that driving several thousand miles with a bad vp, that I killed my injectors?
Also a guy told me that upgraded injectors even without a chip will give better mileage and more hp. How true is this?

It is all about how well an injector can atomize the fuel for a better burn. The better the tip on an injector, the better. If the VP was delivering poor pressure, or inconsistent, injector damage could have resulted. Everything wears out in time, no matter how good you are too it.
I have seen comparisons in magazines about how well the "ports" are machined in injector tips, and believe that it makes a difference. Just like the port and polishing was just presented to us, a "port and polished" injector tip should yield similar results.
I believe a premium injector would have better gain than stock, but that's just my opinion.
