does any one know how to adjust the APPS?

So you know, if the APPS is wore out, adjusting it won't do any good. Your going to have to buy a new sensor.

 

im not sure if it is wore out or not ... how do you tell if it is bad or just needs adjusting

 

Eratic idle, poor engine performance when you step on the pedal. If the voltage doesn't stay within the specs after you adjust it, need to replace the sensor.

have you did the plain old reset ?

Unhook your batteries over night , then re connect them and turn the key on but dont start it , depress accelerator to the floor slow and let it back up slow ... do this a few times and your APPS will be reset .
