heres one for ya guys any one know
It will cost u some to have the dealer to program it in and the temp will warm up faster because the engine is working harder because only half of the cyls are firing. plus you get the high idle for warm up. around 1200 then when it reaches operating temp it returns to normal. Not sure how much it would cost from the dealer to program it in prob i would say about an hours time so dep on the dealer i would say $75-100 IDK just a guess on that tho.
just find a buddy with a smarty, have him flash a tune on it and take it back to stock, that will give you the updated programming with the high idle at anything under 30 degrees and 3 cylinder idle under 0 degrees.
Oh yea i forgot about the smartys bein able to do that as well.
i have a hypertec max energy you think they would have a new updated downlod as well like the smarty

ok so how do you turn the high idle off like im a firefighter and i dont have time for it to sit and warm up

touch either the brake or throttle and it goes right back to normal, it's really only a warmup feature for those people that go out and fire it up, then come back in for a couple of minutes for whatever reason.
WHY do you say this
I know alot of guy that have had it done for years now and its never been a problem. Only good things like not haveing to wait so long and they though it saved fule
