Over budget already

 

I use John Deere extreme duty synthetic grease all over the terminals on any battery I touch and it seems to work pretty well. We had some stuff from Valco called Gel Lube that seems to work pretty good, just makes one hell of a slimy mess since its in a spray can.

 

I just coat my terminal with engine oil and wipe off the excess and my terminal are corrosion free for over 7 years now. Matter of fact my stock batteries are still in the truck!

 

funny. It seems petroleum based products do a good job of preventing corrosion..... My batteries were going strong until I left my truck hooked up to a trailer with a short to ground overnight in 10* weather.

 

That I have got to see for my own two eyes. Gonna try first thing in the morning
