- got a 2001 dodge cummins twelve valve and idk what's wrong with it but its got a tick in the rearend and if it ticks two or three times I'm in the other lane because it pulls so hard. Any idea what that might be?

 

I cant say for sure but dose it allways pull one way?? if so start simple and pull the axle shafts and check the spline, sory never tore into the rear on these other than a pinion seal

 

I would pull the tires off and look at the brakes sounds to me like there is somthing possibly hanging up there springs came apart or a shoe that is int. grabbing sticking on the backing plate have seen it before not necicarrily on dodges but have seen it start there by inspecting the brake system.

 

You have an 01 12 valve cummins? swapped or factory?

could be your rearend having a chipped gear?
