i have a 99 auto what turbo do i have and would it be able to run the rv275 injectors or not ..if not just another thing to add to the to do list thank you

HY35 and not sure and not having experienced it but have read on here a few different places that the rv275 should work but not sure on that one someone else should have better idea on that. But the trubo if stock should be the HY35

ya 275rv are fine But I would pull the wheel and take it up a size because the 5 speeds came with just a bit bigger wheel so a few more ponys and its easy to do at home and allmost free compared to a whole new turbo

i am in the same boat as you. luke at diesel dawgs has a deal on them right now. I have heard they will make you run cooler and that they will make you run higher egts. I guess we will have to try and see. good luck and let us know how it goes.

those inj are fine with a stock turbo not to much hotter than stock so get them from the dawg and have fun

I dont believe anyone makes an upgrade for the HY35. You could find yourself a good used HX35. Either way you will be fine with the RV275's.

On 99' automatics we got HX35 they went to the HY in 00 on auto's only...

Ive seen a few with the HY's so I would check to see which one you have first.

yeah if the truck was made in late 99 it might be an HY mine was made in 12 of 98 but was sold as a 99, should be an id tag on the compressor housing...

gpandlf - ya got a big 10/4 on that all the 98 .6 to 98.12 were HX. Iv got the same, sold as a 99 but made 12-98 and it a hx and I upgraded the guts it. my co-worker is bulit 7-99 and hes shafted with the hy
but eather rout 275 are a nice starting point, help the cloud form and when your nice to it help the mpg

By the way my co worker has been looking at a set of 275 what are they going for a set of 6 now??? I was going to sell him mine but im not sure? if ya woul luke let me know thanks
