for a regular cab Im willing to bet it'll get pretty noisey, but grand rock offers an internal muffler that sits inside the stack itself or you can do what I'm think of when I get stack is to add a muffler before the 90* the goes into the bed,

if you get straight or mitre cuts then you'd probably want to get rain caps or something to cover them because when you start up your truck after it rains it gets soot all over your cab and bed

A buddy of mine had 6in stacks in an extended cab, and he said they were loud...especially going home after a night filled with adult beverages, and passing out on my brothers couch!

I had thought of the idea of stacks, but I find no reason to be bombarded by a rumble from the rear, and a whistle from the front. One is inevitable, the other is just more holes in the tin work. Also, in my opinion, stacks are kind of s red flag to cop saying "here I am, watch me close".... jerks.
