to sack or not to stack
well iv been thinking about running a 5" stack my truck is a reg cab. Would it be extreamly loud in cab and if so should i go whith a bigger stack. ill be pulling some. i dont really want to mess around whith a turn up on exaust but i would still like to beable to here myself think in the cab goin down the road. thanks for eny input
for a regular cab Im willing to bet it'll get pretty noisey, but grand rock offers an internal muffler that sits inside the stack itself or you can do what I'm think of when I get stack is to add a muffler before the 90* the goes into the bed,
if you get straight or mitre cuts then you'd probably want to get rain caps or something to cover them because when you start up your truck after it rains it gets soot all over your cab and bed
I had thought of the idea of stacks, but I find no reason to be bombarded by a rumble from the rear, and a whistle from the front. One is inevitable, the other is just more holes in the tin work. Also, in my opinion, stacks are kind of s red flag to cop saying "here I am, watch me close".... jerks.
