Default Fuel Systems

Ok guys i need some more help here. I had plans of going with an Air Dog 150 setup on my truck. However im not sure if im going to need that or if a Raptor 150 will work just as well. My futer plans are 200 sticks, compound turbo setup, new vp44 from blue chip, and of course a new clutch. I dont plan on hauling massive amounts of weight, maybe a couple ton of coal a year for winter or some round bails for the cows but nothing the truck cant handle stock. other than the filters and water separation whats the difference between the two and what is recommended? thanks

well with the airdog you get the 2micron fuel filter as where your stock is not even close also the water seperator is worth its weight in gold esecially if you roll in cold weather but thier is nothing wrong with the pump by it self it is just the added protection that is thier sounds like you got the itch good luck

Go with the AirDog all the way. Compare prices. Now that you see a difference of $300 or so, now imagine the raptor crapping out on your or worse.. It leaning your VP so it too craps out...

When fueling, go with a strong system. I run a FASS 150 setup, but the AirDog is also an excellent system to use.

Raptor 150 or FASS HPFP are excellent pumps. They just don't include the filters.

The filtration on the VP trucks is less of a issue but it is nice to relocate the filters and have a better water sep.
